Masterclasses during Dutch Design Week

During Dutch Design Week, we are hosting masterclasses on various days from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Working in small groups, you will get hands-on with clay, making the masterclasses suitable for both beginners and those with more experience. We will guide you step-by-step through the entire process, and there is plenty of room to ask questions. During the masterclass, we focus entirely on the clay work; you can come and glaze your work at a later time during a separate session.

Lamp

From clay to atmospheric light. In this masterclass, you will create the ceramic part of our lamp and discover how shape, material, and light can enhance one another. You will work according to our design and be guided throughout the entire process. The lamp will be a maximum of 25 cm wide. The lamp and socket are not included; you will only be making the ceramic part during the masterclass.

Fruit bowl

Fruit deserves to be seen. During this masterclass, you will create a fruit bowl with a playful, characterful shape. You will learn how to build up and finish the clay as we work together toward the final design. With a maximum width of 30 cm, the bowl is large enough to stand out on the table, yet compact enough for everyday use.

Water carafe

A water carafe you make yourself just has a bit more character. During this masterclass, you will learn how to shape clay into our signature water carafe. We will guide you through every step and help you achieve the right shape and proportions. The end result? A handmade carafe for your table, with a maximum height of 25 cm.
